General Announcements

  • REMINDER: There is no school this week Thursday and Friday!
  • We have had several students arrive at school as early as 6:30am. Please remember that we cannot provide supervision for those students. Our doors open at 7:25am, which is when supervision is available.

  • Students that stay after for the fitness center should not leave the building after school and need to be picked up promptly at 4:30 pm.

Scheduling Meetings with Staff

We kindly ask that parents and guardians schedule a meeting in advance when wishing to speak with a staff member. Our staff have full schedules throughout the day, and unannounced visits can be difficult to accommodate.

We absolutely understand that emergencies can arise, and in those cases, we will do our best to assist right away. However, for all other matters, please reach out by phone or email to set up a meeting time. This helps ensure that staff can give you their full attention and that your concerns are addressed effectively.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us maintain a productive and respectful environment for both staff and students.

Community Building Field Trip

Our students had such a great time on our community building field trip. The trip focused on bringing students together through team building exercises, games, a low ropes course and service projects. The weather was amazing and our students represented our school very well! We truly do have great students at ETMS!

  • No weapons, toy weapons, or props replicating weapons are to be brought to school.
  • No costumes are allowed that would completely hide the identity of the student.
  • Costumes must not impair a student’s vision or movement.
  • Costumes may not show obscene materials or prohibited substances.
  • No masks are permitted.
  • No face paint allowed.
  • Costumes may not be demeaning to any ethnic group, race, religion, nationality, disability, gender, or individual at the school.

New Traffic Pattern

Thanks to the passing of the last capital referendum, we were able to completely redo our parking lot to improve the traffic flow and safety during drop off and pick up times. It is important that you follow the proper traffic flow to ensure our students and staff are safe and traffic can move smoothly. PLEASE DO NOT allow students to get in or out of cars on Graydon Avenue. Not only is this unsafe for our students, it will slow the flow of traffic for everyone. We ask that all cars dropping off or picking up their middle school students enter the parking lot and follow the route using the painted arrows. You will notice that the car entrance has been pushed further down Graydon and our busses have a separate entrance and exit. We are excited for this change and ask for your cooperation and patience as everyone adjusts to these changes. A paper copy of the traffic flow will be provided at RSG Conferences.
